Abstract
The nearly backward nuclear reflections (3 3 11) and (5 5 12) of a perfect single crystal of 57FeBO3 were studied. Angle-integrated and angle-resolved Mossbauer reflection and transmission spectra were measured. The spectra show the characteristic features of dynamical diffraction (interference and energy broadening of the hyperfine transitions at the Bragg positions) like those previously observed in the comparable forward reflections (111) and (222) of 57FeBO3. The antiferromagnetic pure nuclear backward reflection (3 3 11) is a promising candidate for the filtering of Mossbauer lines from white synchrotron radiation. Keywords
