Initial boundary value problem for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation

Abstract
The integrable initial boundary value problem on a semi-line for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation is considered. It is shown that by means of the Backlund transformation this problem can be reduced to the well known Cauchy problem for the same equation on the line.Keywords
