Predisposition to Sleep-walking

Abstract
Sleep-walking in 342 3-year-old children was investigated with reference to the genetic data on their parents. Sleep-walking and sleep-talking occurred frequently in the same child suggesting a possible relationship in their etiology. The incidence of sleep-walking was higher in children of parents who had manifested the same symptom in their childhood or later, and in children who had had convulsions. Sleep-walking occurred more frequently in children who slept lightly and were easily awakened.
