Abstract
In this paper we consider the optimum ordering policies in which a spare is provided only by order. Introducing two kinds of load times and non-linear ordering costs, we obtain the optimum ordering policy minimizing the expected cost per unit time in the steady state. We show in a theorem that there exists a finite and unique optimum ordering time under certain conditions. Some other theorems are also presented. Keywords
