Uncusektomie und Uncoforaminektomie nach Jung

Abstract
The authors described the technique of uncusectomy and uncoforaminectomia according to A. Jung. The Jung-operation can be defined as the opening of the intervertebral foramina through the anterior approach. The aims of this operation are the liberation of a displaced or narrowed vertebral artery and to free compressed or irritated nerve roots by means of opening and widening the intervertebral foramina from the front. This report is based on 180 such operations performed by A. Jung and colleagues. The operation is indicated whenever cervical uncarthrosis leads to a vertebrobasilar insufficiency syndrome or a cervical-brachial irritation syndrome. Both syndromes commonly occur together. The results of operative treatment are analysed and the success rate lies around 80%. Die Autoren beschreiben die Technik der Uncusectomie und der Uncoforaminektomie nach A. Jung. Die Jungsche Operation läßt sich definieren als „Eröffnung des Foramen intervertebrale durch vorderen Zugang„. Uncusectomie und Uncoforaminektomie haben zum Ziel, einerseits die verdrängte oder eingeengte Arteria vertebralis freizulegen und anderseits die komprimierten oder gereizten Nervenwurzeln zu lösen, indem von vornherein das Foramen intervertebrale geöffnet und erweitert wird. Die vorliegende Arbcit stützt sich auf 180 von A. Jung u. Mitarb. durchgeführte Operationen. Die Operationen sind jeweils indiziert, wenn ein vertebro-basales Insuffizienz-Syndrom durch cervicale Uncarthrose oder aber eine Cervico-brachialgie durch Verengung des Foramen intervertebralis durch eben diese Uncarthrose vorliegen. Die beiden Syndrome treten häufig gleichzeitig auf. Die Resultate dieser Interventionen werden analysiert, ihre Erfolgsquote liegt bei 80%.
