Abstract
A dominantly inherited disorder occurring in father and daughter consisted of unilateral ptosis and inability to elevate the depressed left eye. Abduction and adduction were normal on the affected side. Surgical exploration in one case revealed massive adhesions between the interior rectus muscles and adjacent tissues.Keywords
