Abstract
Suspended and inverted microstrip lines are one of the most commonly used planar transmission structures. They are especially suitable for the lower portion of the millimeter-wave band. At present, most of the available data on these lines is quasistatic. In this work, a full-wave spectral-domain analysis of the lines has been carried out. At millimeter-wave frequencies, the full-wave results display significant departure from the quasistatic values. Keywords
