Abstract
Epidemiologic, clinical and management information was collected from the case histories of 103 women operated on for an extrauterine pregnancy at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Central Hospital in Maputo (Mozambique) from April 1st, 1987 to March 31st, 1988. We observed a decline in extrauterine pregnancies (9.76%), an association of pelvic schistosomiasis (3.9%), and a high percentage of women with ruptured tubes and subsequent hemoperitoneum (75.7%).Keywords
