Abstract
The major flow of the Jordan River into Lake Kinneret is during winter. At the beginning of the floods, the river water flows southward directly on the bottom of the lake. In late winter or spring, the river water is deflected toward the western shore and mixes rapidly in the upper layers of the lake. These patterns are explained on the basis of density changes due to variations of temperature, salinity, and suspended material. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
