Abstract
Cross-magnetic-field transport due to like-particle collisions is discussed for the parameter regime , where is the Debye length and is the characteristic Larmor radius of the colliding particles. A new theory based on collisionally produced E×B drifts predicts a particle flux which exceeds the flux predicted previously, by the factor .
