Nucleon-Nucleon Short-Range Correlation and High-Momentum Components in Nuclei

Abstract
The spectral function for 4He(e, e'p)3H is obtained with the Reid soft-core V8 and the supersoft core NN potentials. The ground one has a dip at k ≈2.0 fm-1 and a second peak at k ≈2.5 fm-1, which are never seen in the case of 3He(e, e'p)2H. The second peak gives crucial information on the short-range correlation in the nucleus.
