Abstract
Canalicular occlusion is a simple method to increase topical ocular antibiotic drug bioavailability and efficacy. Absorbable intracanalicular collagen implants were placed in the lacrimal drainage system of New Zealand white rabbits before instillation of one 50-μl drop of 0.3% tobramycin.
