Abstract
Raman scattering on commercial filters containing CdSexS1–x microcrystals is reported. The composition x is determined by the difference between CdS‐ and CdSe‐like LO phonon frequencies. A simple phonon confinement model in the microcrystals is suggested to explain the observed red‐shift of the Raman frequencies and the lineshapes. Keywords
