Abstract
The on-site behaviors of visitors to several scenic-sites were measured in terms of time-spent variables. This data was collected using systematic observation. Reliability was tested in several ways with specific attention paid to the problems of categorization, coding, inter-observer agreement, internal consistency, content sampling and reactivity. Results show the methodology to be reasonably reliable. Keywords
