Abstract
Symptoms of rose wilt virus are described on newly budded and established rose plants. Reproduction was demonstrated by budding healthy stock with infected scion buds. Transmission was demonstrated by a double-budding technique. Indexing of selected material of 15 popular varieties showed 9 to be free of rose wilt virus and 6 to be infected. Keywords
