Abstract
Oxazolidinones have been synthesized from the reaction of N-Boc derivatives of β-amino alcohols with TsCl or MsCl. Basic reaction condition is not necessary to the formation of oxazolidinone from the tosylated intermediate. On the other hand, oxazolidinone was produced from N-Boc derivative of β-amino alcohol under NaH.Keywords
