Abstract
Electron microscope studies on the structures of the guinea-pig cochlea reveal a large number of filiform processes on the endolymph side of the Hensen cells. Similar processes were found on the phalanx of the Deiter cells. The author suggests that these cells are well adapted to resorptive functions. Keywords
