Abstract
Compton profile measurements of aluminium at MoKα failed to find any anisotropy between the [100] and [110] directions but by extending the measurements to MoKβ (where the doublet separation is much less critical) a Compton defect of ∼10 eV has been found for the valence electrons.Keywords
