Abstract

We have observed a dip at

- t ≃ 0.5

Ge

V^{2}

in

(\frac{{ρ_{00}}^{H} d σ}{dt}) (π p \to ρ N)

for

ρ^{-}

,

ρ^{0}

, and

ρ^{+}

at 6

\frac{GeV}{c}

. The dominant contribution to

(\frac{{ρ_{00}}^{H} d σ}{dt}) (π p \to ρ N)

is from

π

exchange.
