Abstract
A brief review of the literature on tumors of the minor salivary glands chiefly being an analysis of cases observed during a 9-year period at the Medical College of Virginia. There were 23 during this period, and they include 14 benign mixed tumors, 3 malignant mixed tumors, 3 adeno-carcinomas of the cylindroma type, 2 benign mucoepidermoid tumors, and 1 papillary cystadenocarcinoma. The clinical, pathologic aspects, and follow-up data related to these tumors are summarized, with a brief appraisal of suggested methods of therapy.
