Abstract
The waxy mutant used was selected from the progeny of M1 plants of the Oryza sativa cultivar Norin 8 treated with 32P. Amylose content in endosperm starch increased with the number of non-waxy alleles. Amylose content was not linearly proportional to the dosage of wx alleles as reported from an indica cultivar. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
