Abstract
Composite plating has become a recognised part of the metal finishing scene, with a wide variety of materials used to complement the properties of the matrix deposit. Electroless nickel, as a primarily engineering coating, has followed this trend. This paper reviews the work initiated in this field and considers the inherent difficulties associated with the process. Keywords
