Abstract
Low‐temperature specific heats were measured in the systems of borides Co2B–Ni2B and FeB–CoB, especially near cF, the critical composition for ferromagnetism. In the critical concentration range the linear term γT is largely increased and the specific heat curves reveal anomalies at low temperature. Except for this cF range, the γ values, in conformity with the magnetic moments, describe the filling up of a d band in a rigid band model. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
