Abstract
A 29 yr old woman who was undergoing regular hemodialysis for 4 yr became pregnant, and a male infant weighing 1320 g was delivered by cesarean section. The infant grew uneventfully and shows no abnormalities. This is the 1st case in Japan and the 8th reported case to date (1979) in which a patient undergoing chronic hemodialysis became pregnant and delivered a live infant.
