Abstract
A novel macrobicycle featuring a thiourea as a carboxylate binding site, and amide functionality to provide further hydrogen-bonding interactions with suitable guests is prepared; the ability of this novel macrobicycle to bind simple amino acid derivatives is investigated.Keywords
