Abstract
Field tests of the efficacy of 2 malathion formulations against the chicken mite, Dermanyssys gallinae and 3 spp. of Mallophaga are discussed. Increases in egg production due to control of these ectoparasites are shown. Residue analyses indicate no malathion remained in hens slaughtered 7 days after treatment.
