Abstract
A new apparatus for milking mice was used to obtain milk from 4 anesthetized mice simultaneously over a period of 15 min. By using Si rubber molded teat cups, 8 teats could be milked automatically from each mouse. The average yield was 1.5 ml/mouse. This method was especially applicable to production of large amounts of mouse milk. Milking of rats was achieved with the apparatus without any changes. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
