Abstract
The anisotropy in the magnetoresistance of copper single crystals has been used to determine the Fermisurface topology in copper. In particular, the {111} neck thickness in the [] and [] directions has been determined and found to be and , respectively, where is the reciprocal lattice parameter. Sixteen selected crystals have been measured and the data used to obtain information on the open-orbit regions.
