Abstract
An adaptive on-line optimization method is developed for continuous bioreactors. The method, based on dynamic model identification, is fast, adaptive, and requires no detailed model. Computer simulation studies of a continuous culture of bakers' yeast indicate that the method has good potential. Keywords
