Abstract
Nondehiscent anthers and necrotic responses induced by 2,2-dichloropropionic acid (Dalapon) and 2,3-dichloroisobutyric acid (FW-450) were reversed by simultaneous application of pantothenic acid and D-ribose. FW-450 beta-ray emissions revealed by radioautograms indicate dark conditioning inhibits upward transport of the Cl4. D-ribose and pantothenic acid applied to similarly treated plants produced beta-ray emissions in reproductive tissues. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
