Abstract
Thermogravimetric procedures are used to obtain the kinetic parameters for the intermolecular condensation of the anomers of D-glucose, D-mannose, and D-galactose. The condensation rates in the temperature range 176–220°C are found sufficiently rapid compared to the rates of mutarotation that significant differences between anomers can be observed.Keywords
