Abstract
We describe a technique of surgically removing melanomas that involve the ciliary body and/or the choroid, while leaving intact the outer portion of the sclera and the overlying sensory retina. This procedure, called a partial lamellar sclerouvectomy, can be subclassified as a partial lamellar sclerocyclochoroidectomy in the case of ciliochoroidal melanomas, and as a partial lamellar sclerochoroidectomy in the case of pure choroidal melanomas. Keywords
