Abstract
Cell marker analysis, including mouse red cell rosetting ability, was carried out on 24 newly diagnosed patients with chronic lymphatic leukemia. Using a technique not employing neuraminidase, a significant difference in mouse red cell rosetting ability was noted between male and female patients. Females often have a milder form of disease and better long-term surival than men. This might be a reflection of the difference found in mouse red cell rosetting ability between the sexes in this condition. Keywords
