Abstract
Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) can have a devastating effect on the patient, family members, and acute care staff. A multidisciplinary team effort is essential for the psychosocial support of the patient and family through the injury process. SCI rehabilitation management in the acute care setting will be reviewed along with the process for selecting an appropriate rehabilitation facility. Keywords
