Enhancement of Tetracycline Serum Levels with Glucosamine Hydrochloride as Adjuvant. Cross-over Studies in Beagle Dogs

Abstract
Serum levels of tetracycline activity were enhanced by the presence of D-glucosamine hydrochloride from 76% at 1 hour to 34% at 7 hours over those ob-tained after oral administration of tetracycline hydrochloride alone in a cross-over experiment with 40 pure-bred beagle dogs.
