Abstract
The demand for improved high speed rail transportation in our growing metropolitan corridor areas has resulted in United Aircraft’s designing and building several new turbine-powered high speed trains. This paper describes some of the unique features in the suspension design permitting significant improvements in comfort and the ability of the trains to negotiate existing curves with greater speed and safety. Keywords
