Abstract
In this article, the medical devices and instruments that have been applied to the study of lung sounds, including the traditional acoustic stethoscope are reviewed. This survey will include sound transducers and their placement, methods, and equipment used for the recording and analysis of lung sounds, results obtained by the use of these techniques, and their clinical meaning.Keywords
