Abstract
This chapter compares the standardized test achievement of students who are randomly given and not given school vouchers in New York City, Washington D.C. and Dayton, Ohio, and discusses the key features of the randomized voucher distribution in these three locations. It also analyzes the programmatic impacts on student test scores, parents' satisfaction with their child's school, and parent reports of the characteristics of the schools the child attended. Keywords
