Observations of Atmospheric Extinction from 0.315 to 1.06 Microns

Abstract
Observations of atmospheric extinction taken over the three year period 1963–65 at a site in South Africa and a site in southern France are presented in tabular and graphical form. Data were taken photo-electrically in ten narrow bands between 0.315 and 1.06 μ and in the astronomical UBV bands. A preliminary analysis in terms of molecular scattering plus aerosol extinction is given.
