Abstract
Evidence was found for the presence of protopectinase and a disaggregating enzyme which reduces the molecular size of pectin without the production of galacturonic acid. The production by a fungus of a pectinase type of enzyme which is free from pectin methoxylase has not been reported hitherto. Keywords
