Bleeding ears: case report of Munchausen syndrome by proxy

Abstract
A two and a half year old child presented with "bleeding" ears which proved to be factitious in origin. A previous episode of haematuria, haematemesis and melaena at age 9 months was probably also factitious. A brief discussion of Munchausen syndrome by proxy is presented.Keywords
