Abstract
IN a review of records of patients studied at the Lahey Clinic twenty or more years ago, it is not unusual to see a diagnosis noted "polyp of rectum or colon; patient to have periodic checkups." Since that time the true significance of rectal and colon polyps has been quite generally appreciated, and at present not only are increasing numbers of patients of all ages and both sexes being found to have polyps but also these polyps are being removed or destroyed without delay.On the basis of current knowledge of this subject, the association of polyps with cancer of . . .Keywords
