Abstract
The electrochemical reactivity of ortho-allyloxy halobenzenes in the presence of Ni(II) complexes as catalysts is determined by the nature of the ligand. Ni(II)-Cyclam complexes catalyze a cyclization reaction, whereas with Ni(II)-bipyridine complexes, the allyl-oxygen bond is selectively cleaved. Keywords
