Abstract
When tubercle bacilli are exposed to isoniazid in vitro, there is a decrease in the amount of lipids which may be extracted with organic solvents, particularly methanol, when compared with untreated tubercle bacilli. Isoniazid-treated non-acid-fast tubercle bacilli lost the ability to confer hypersensitivity to tuberculin in guinea pigs. Keywords
