Abstract
The patient with basal cell carcinoma of the skin has sometimes been thought to run an increased risk for developing other malignancies. A retrospective cohort study of 468 cases including about 4400 person-years of observation did not reveal a significant deviation from expected values estimated either from cancer register data or from cancer incidence in matched controls. Keywords
