A Novel Spontaneous Alternating Copolymerization of Methoxyallene with 4-Chlorophenyl Isocyanate

Abstract
The spontaneous alternating copolymerization of methoxyallene with 4-chlorophenyl isocyanate proceeded through zwitterion to give polyamide having highly reactive exo-methylene groups bonded onto polymer backbone, accompanying the partial formation of β-lactam derivatives.
