Investigation of Back-Scattering in the D+/H2 Reaction System

Abstract
A collision chamber designed for efficient collection of product ions was used to determine the extent of back scattering in the reactions of D+ and H2 to form H+ and HD+. No significant amount of back scattering in the laboratory system was detected.Keywords
