Abstract
A record amplifier span of 105 km has been achieved in a soliton transmission experiment at 10 Gbit/s by making use of in-line synchronous modulation in a recirculating loop. Transmission over 1 Gm demonstrates once more the efficiency of this type of technique.Keywords
