Abstract
The single-variable Poisson regression model with y i as an observation on a Poisson random variable with parameter λx i is studied. A goodness-of-fit test and three tests for the comparison of the value of λ in two populations are proposed. Some asymptotic results for the comparison tests are given. Keywords
