Abstract
The general approach, based on a chainlike set of functional equations of Dyson's type in the mixed coordinate-wave representation, is developed for solving dynamic or static problems for scalar macroscopic fields in anisotropic stratified media. The theory is applicable for a variety of fields such as the electric, temperature, concentration, or the wave fields of particles in the effective-mass tensor approximation. Keywords
